It premiered at the Melbourne International Film Festival and now Franklin, the story of the birth of Green activism and the stopping of the Franklin Dam in Tasmania, will be on the big screen in Taree.

NSW Greens MP Sue Higginson, a champion for biodiversity and a long time, environmental defender will be the guest speaker. Come and meet with like-minded people and help raise money to spread the word about the threats to biodiversity in the native forests, coastal lands, rivers, streams and wooded farms throughout our region.

Petitions, posters, badges and plenty of information will be available on the afternoon. Your $20 ticket is also good for a cup of green tea, cookies and company on Sunday November 6 from 1:30 pm.
