The drowning of Dr Duncan on the banks of the River Torrens 50 years ago shocked the South Australian community and precipitated the push for gay law reform.  The murder remains one of the country’s most notorious unsolved murders and to date no one has been convicted.

Adelaide historian and author, Tim Reeves examines this event and its implications in his new book, ‘The Death of Dr Duncan.’

Greens MLC Robert Simms is hosting a Q&A with Tim Reeves to discuss his book and commemorate 50 years since Dr Duncan’s death.

This is a free event and copies of the book will be available for purchase at the venue.

Registrations are essential as seats are limited.
