WA Trans Insurgency calling party (Sat 3rd Oct 10am -12pm)

[Event Description]

Help us call our volunteers who want to join our Trans Insurgency Campaign.

We are supporting this grass roots initiative led by our Pride working group as a State-wide series of regional catch-ups. Come help us get folks on board to learn how to run or join our local groups and events.

What to expect:

Bring your own Laptop if you have it as computers are limited.

Welcome and connection: a quick check-in on experience on making calls

Those with experience will jump straight onto the call lists provided with a script prepared. Those who are new will do same training and practice first and be supported to make their first calls.

We will finish with an update and reflection.

Some drinks and nibbles will be provided.

📅 What: Calling Party to connect with new volunteers and members

📅 When: Saturday 3rd October 2026 from 10am - 12pm.

📅 Where: The Greens WA Office (91 / 215 Stirling St, Perth 6000).

📅 What to expect:  Light nibbles will be provided, with vegetarian option and gluten free available. Please register so that we know how many to cater for.

📅 How to get there: Parking is available on Stirling Street. Alternatively, buses leaves from Perth City Station and reach Beaufort Street (after Newcastle Street), or Newcastle Street (after Beaufort Street), after which there is a 5 minute walk. Venue is wheelchair accessible.
