Roe 8 Walk

What: Join us to walk part of the Roe 8 Corridor and celebrate the resilience of nature after the devastating clearing 10 years ago.

Adam Peck, leading the Roe 8 rehabilitation project, will answer your questions about the restoration of this precious slice of nature.

When: Sunday October 4th, 9am - 11:30am

Where: Meet at Yaakan/Turtle Corner (corner of Hope Road and Progress Drive, Bibra Lake).

What to expect: 

The event is outdoors and involves about 3km of levelled limestone paths. Please bring a water bottle, hat, sunscreen, and shoes for walking.

At the end of the walk, we will have carpools organiser to return to the Bibra Lake playground area, or a return walk can be made on the same path.

Accessible toilets are available at the Bibra Lake Regional Park Playground nearby the parking area, approximately 400m from the meeting point.

How to get there: Parking is available at the Bibra Lake Regional Park Playground along progress drive. It is an approximate 400m walk to the meeting point. Public transport is limited, however the 520 and 512 buses have stops approximately 1km away from the meeting point.
