UC Greens Movie Night x Politics in the Pub - Save Our Western Edge

The ACT Government has committed to drawing an Urban Growth Boundary by 2027 to stop endless suburban sprawl and to protect the native ecosystems that surround our city. We believe that Canberra's Western Edge, a region of significant environmental and Indigenous heritage value, should be fall beyond that boundary.

Come and join us for a screening of the amazing documentary On The Edge from local filmmaker Trent Houssenloge, and to chat about the campaign to Save Our Western Edge. After the "serious" stuff, we'll go over to UC Bar for food and casual conversation. Bring your friends and/or make some on the night, and enjoy the laidback atmosphere! This event is open to UC students and staff, as well as the broader community.
