Join fellow SA Greens members for the launch of the Adelaide Park Lands Member Action Group (APLMAG) at a relaxed picnic in the beautiful south-eastern Park Lands. Let’s soak in the stunning environment amongst varied biodiversity and chat about how we protect this beautiful space together for future generations to enjoy.

🧺 What to bring: A plate of food to share, a picnic rug or chair, and your enthusiasm for protecting South Australia's green spaces.

The Adelaide Park Lands are one of South Australia's most significant environmental, cultural and community assets, but it is under threat from multiple government backed developments. This new Member Action Group will:

Enable Greens members to actively participate in developing and delivering a coordinated campaign to protect the national, cultural and environmental heritage of the Adelaide Park Lands.

Elevate the Greens SA's long-standing advocacy for the protection of the Park Lands through greater visibility, community engagement and relationship-building.

Provide a network of support and campaigning experience that can assist efforts to protect other green spaces across South Australia.

This inaugural gathering is an opportunity to meet like-minded members, discuss campaign ideas, and help shape the direction of the group. Attendees will also have the opportunity to establish the group's initial structure by selecting a convenor and secretary, plus we’re really hoping to secure anyone interested in being a community outreach coordinator, fundraising champion, and a social media content creator.
