at Marama Flax Creations, Bairnsdale
You will be learning from two incredible people:
  • Tanita Murray is a Māori born women who will share the cultural significance of flax, the stories held in each strand and the teachings woven through Māori fibre practices.

  • Paula Harrison was born and raised on Gunaikurnai Country, bringing local knowledge, cultural grounding, and the weaving traditions of this place.

There'll be nibbles, good company, and a whole lot of heart. A space to slow down, learn something beautiful, and be a part of a community that cares.
