Make them pay: the people vs the big corporations

Labor have spent years telling us to lower our expectations. Don't ask for too much. Don't demand better. They give just enough sugar hits before each election to get through another election cycle, but not enough to actually fix the problems we’re facing.

But we know that kind of politics is over.

The crises people are facing aren't temporary. They're structural. And the parties that built those structures aren't going to dismantle them. Labor, Liberal and One Nation are all funded by the same big corporate interests that benefit from keeping things exactly as they are.

Real political change has never come from governments suddenly deciding to be generous. It comes from ordinary people deciding they've had enough and demanding better.

We can take our power back. We can have hope that things can get better.

That's why the Greens released their Fair Share Plan to make big banks, gambling corporations, fossil fuel giants and wealthy developers finally pay their fair share, so we can fund the things everyone needs to actually get ahead.
