Renters Weekend of Action! West Heidelberg Knock

ou deserve a home you can afford. But right now if you rent, you're struggling as the cost of everything goes up.

We know what happens when costs start to rise - property investors try to preserve their profits, renters will be the ones to bear the brunt.

That’s why the Greens are calling for an immediate two-year rent freeze to protect renters from the rising cost of living, fuel prices and interest rates.

So, on May 9 we’ll be getting out and about talking to renters like about how we get rent controls for a Renters Day of Action!

It’s going to take all of us to finally make renting fair, are you in?

No prior experience necessary - we'll provide training and support if you're new to canvassing! Feel free to invite family and friends along to knock with you - dogs and kids always welcome too :)
 

What to expect on the day:

10am - Meet, coffee, briefing & conversations training

10.30am - Head out to door knock

12.30pm - Wrap up door knocks, debrief and lunch/snacks

1pm - Wrap up
