Are you a member of the LGBTQIA+ community looking to make connections, campaign on the issues that matter to you, and inform the direction of The Tasmanian Greens on LGBTQIA+ policy?

Join us on Monday the 11th of May for the Tasmanian Rainbow Greens' Annual General Meeting! We'll be revitalising the Rainbow Greens, selecting our new Convenor(s), and making plans for the rest of 2026.

This meeting will take place in person at South Hobart Community Centre and online via Zoom. The Zoom link will be shared closer to the date - you must be registered to receive it.

The in-person event will include free food and drinks.

DO YOU WANT TO HELP LEAD THE TASMANIAN RAINBOW GREENS?

We're looking for 1-2 people to step up as Convenor(s) of the Rainbow Greens for the next 12 months. As Convenor, you would be responsible for the following:

• Organising meetings and events (minimum of four meetings in twelve months, primarily online);

• Recruiting and welcoming new members of the Tasmanian Rainbow Greens, and;

• Providing brief written reports to State Council.

Support and mentorship will be provided.

NOMINATIONS FOR THE ROLE OF CONVENOR ARE NOW OPEN. To nominate, please send a brief written statement (approx 250-600 words) and/or short video statement to party@tas.greens.org.au. Nominations close at 5pm on Friday the 1st of May.
