The current Labor government took no new climate policies to the last election and they let the ACT’s Climate Change Strategy expire. Now that consultation is (finally!) open on the new Climate Change Strategy, Canberrans want to stand up and have their say on the climate action our city and planet need.
As your Greens climate spokespeople, Shane Rattenbury and Andrew Braddock will be hosting a Climate Town Hall. We will hear from a community panel of climate experts and advocates, and most importantly – from YOU!
You will have the opportunity to have your say on what real climate leadership will look like. We will advocate on your behalf to make sure the new Climate Change Strategy reflects what you want to see.
The Town Hall will go from 6-8pm, with a light dinner provided.
