Baby and Kids Clothes Swap

Kids grow fast!

Join us for a clothes swap to declutter, share resources and reduce landfill and talk about how we can make our neighbourhood a better place to raise kids.

Gabrielle De Vietri, MP and Sen Steph Hodgins-May invite you to a Kids and Babies Clothes Swap being held in conjunction with the Collingwood Toy Library (Abbotsford). This is a free event and everyone is welcome. We will be serving bagels, fruit and coffee.

The swap will take place at the Collingwood Toy Library.  The toy library is a fantastic resource for families with young children with an inventory of different toys, games, puzzles, dress-up costumes, party packs and ride-on toys to borrow.  

Bring your used kids' and babies' clothes and exchange them for items in the next size up. Or just come along and pick up some kids’ clothes - it’s totally OK if you don’t have any to swap; we always have surplus clothing.

Hang out with local families, swap clothes, enjoy coffee/snacks and catch up with Gab and Steph who will be there to chat about your family’s experiences of local services including childcare and kinder. We are keen to hear from you about raising your kids in the local community.

Let's come together, keep clothes out of landfill, and support each other raising our kids locally. We look forward to seeing you there!

Please register so we can update you ahead of the event - we’ll share tips and info about how the clothes swap will work and what you can expect. We'll be accepting sizes from newborn to 6.
