We offered something better, and the community agreed - they deserved better.
Since being elected, we have regulated short stay accommodation, ended no grounds evictions for renters, pushed Labor’s to end its MoU with the Israeli Defense Ministry and their contract with Israel’s largest weapons manufacturer, ELBIT and passed the very first Treaty in this country.
But as economic injustice deepens, as people continue to struggle to afford their rent or mortgage, go to the doctors, and just get by, as the rise of right-wing extremism locally and globally grows - as we pass 1.5 degrees of global warming - we know we have our work cut out for us.
Labor has declared Richmond as a target seat. This seat is on a knives edge and we cannot lose our formidable force and watch the major parties stop all the work Gab has done for our local community.
Our future will be worse off without her in Parliament. We are prepared to fight for it!
