The Tasmanian Greens are standing strong with the community against the Government’s wasteful stadium project and so before the crucial vote in Parliament there will be a rally in Hobart outside Parliament!
Join the movement, stand up, and so NO to the stadium.
Cecily Rosol has organised a bus from Launceston so that as many people as possible from the North can be part of the No New Stadium Rally on Sunday 23 November at 11am.
Here are the details:
Departure: 8 Willis Street, Launceston (right near Hog’s Breath Café)
Meet at 7:00am for a 7:30am sharp departure
Where we’re heading: Parliament House Lawns, Hobart – 11:00am
Depart Hobart at 1:00pm
Return to Launceston by around 4:00pm
If you’d like to come along, please call my office on (03) 6324 2084, email cecily.rosol@parliament.tas.gov.au, or sign up via this page!
We’re asking those who are able to chip in $30 towards the bus hire, to be paid in cash on the morning. But if you can’t afford it, please don’t worry. Everyone deserves the chance to have their voice heard on this important issue.
This stadium proposal is a waste of public money that should be going to housing, health, education, and community services.
Let’s show the Government that Tasmanians won’t stand for it.
