Join us for pizza and politics at the Pot Belly Pub. We'll chat about the latest on adaptation and how we can look after our community's health in a changing climate.

Join Jo Clay MLA and the Ginninderra Greens for pizza and politics at the Pot Belly Pub. November's guest speakers are Michael Singer, Senior Manager of Operations at St John Ambulance ACT and Andrew Braddock MLA, ACT Greens spokesperson for climate adaptation.

Andrew will give us the latest on a heating climate, where governments are up to in terms of adaptation and some of the likely health impacts this will have.

Michael will tell us about how we can better prepare ourselves and look after our community and some of his insights into community resilience and preparation.

Then we'll chat about how you can help lobby the ACT Government to turn all your great ideas into a reality and how Jo and the broader ACT Greens Assembly team will back your advocacy!

This event is open to members and non-members alike. Free pizza and chips, drinks available at the bar. Join us and meet some amazing progressives in your area - and we'll also be organising lifts for Rising Tide Newcastle to help you join Australia's biggest climate action.
