On Saturday the 20th of October we will be coming together in solidarity with the people of Palestine, as they stand against Genocide, Ethnic Cleansing, and Occupation by the Israeli Apartheid Regime. We’ll be meeting in Yeppoon for our second screening of the Documentary “Palestinians Don’t Need Sidewalks”, followed by a planning and information session for future actions in Central Queensland.

Viewer discretion is advised due to the confronting nation of the footage, so under 18’s will have to be accompanied by an adult during the screening section. Everyone is welcome at the planning meeting afterwards:

Schedule:

1:00 PM: Doors open, room setup

1:30 PM: Documentary Screening

2:45 PM: Break and Debrief

3:00 PM: Questions and Planning.

4:30 PM: Meeting Close.

This is the second of these events, after an excellent turnout, and vital discussion in Rockhampton. It is vital for us to meet, and build an activist movement to stand with Palestine in Central Queensland - while also standing in solidarity with the First Nations of this land, and other peoples subjected to conflict and colonialism world wide.

If you came along to the Rocky event, feel free to drop in again, particularly around 2:30, as we'll be doing more photos, and planning our next steps. All this is part of our plans to build an action group, and Rally for Palestine, and against Genocide, in our region.
