MADELEINE FOR ROCKINGHAM: Calling Party

We’re so excited a by-election has been called in the state electorate of Rockingham.

Rockingham is a vibrant and diverse community, home to picturesque coastal beaches, Point Peron, and the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park as well as bustling urban hot spots, vital schools, and the Rockingham General Hospital. 

But in the middle of a housing and a cost of living crisis, and with the imminent threat of nuclear submarines at our door, the people of Rockingham need ambitious action. Together, we’ll be fighting alongside our candidate Madeleine De Jong to get real investments into public and affordable housing, combat the grip of fossil fuel corporations on our state, keep Cockburn Sound nuclear free, and boost healthcare and education services in Rockingham.

And as always, we’ll be doing this without any corporate donations. Just good old fashioned people power.
